The wait…

October 29, 2008

A couple of weeks ago, a friend of mine were going to change his SE P1 to a faster phone, the P1 crawls (literally) compare to other smartphone. He was offer two used phones with great conditions, a Nokia E51 and a Blackberry Curve, and decided to get the E51.

Few days ago, out of curiosity I ask wether the Curve still available, and yes it is. So I ask to have a look at the Curve, it was love at first sight, so I offer to trade in my E61. Story short the deal is done but with a few things that got me going crazy, the Curve is at my hand but the battery is still on its way for out of town, there’s a habit for phone seller here to pull out the battery of the device they going to show, and sometimes they forgot to put it back. So here I am waiting for the battery and just stare at the beautiful Curve…

Independence Day

August 15, 2006

August 17th is Indonesia’s Independence Day.

Merdeka !

There are quite a few things that makes me not a very productive blogger. The first of all, the internet connection is way to sloooowww here, since I have to do all the blogging things over the web, it takes me so looonnggg just to finish one blog. The other thing is the lack of a desktop blog publishing tool.

But now I have the Windows Live Writer with me, I type this blog with it as a matter of fact, hope this tool makes me a more productive blogger.

Internet Explorer 7

May 3, 2006

Just install IE7 this morning and spend the rest of the day testing it. Looks good, feels good, just love it. But like all beta release it still have some minor problems, freeze now and then, overall its a good experience on usability.

Monthly report

April 5, 2006

It’s the 5th of April now, two days past from the monthly report deadline and I still don’t have a clue of what to report.

When your network works just fine then what is it left to report about ? Just a one liner says “Everything operates in a normal states” ??

Same problem every month…

Dilemma, a strange words to start my post. Today watch the labour organization organize a national strike to protest the revision of the labour law.

Hundreds of people leaves their work to join their friends on this strike, hundreds of them are outside the office now to call out for their friends inside to come out and join them. A small emotional behavior from one of them will spark an anarchist strike.

It's a dilemma, at one side we need investments and the investors need a labour law that'll benefits and protect them. At the other side the workers need a better life, one that make them capable of providing their family needs. Both party have their arguments…

This is what happens to poor country, the rich getting richer the poor getting poorer. Money become the primary drive to do things, corrupt individual can be found everywhere. It needs a strong effort to solve this problem…

As for me, I'll just do what is the right things to do, change start from one person at a time…
